Crazy Priorities

October 19, 2014 - God’s people became sloppy and undisciplined in their spiritual lives and as a result, the Temple of God church was neglected and became dilapidated. Before God’s people built anything, they needed to get their priorities right. This Sunday we investigate what needed to be put in its proper place, prior to turning the first shovel of dirt in the renovation process.

Crazy Habits

October 12, 2014 - Europe is filled with keystones, the central stone in every arch. Arches support massive domes all because of the essential use of a keystone in construction. Keystone habits are essential disciplines that support us as we carry heavy loads in life. There are “keystone habits” for tight knit families, “keystone habits” for exercise and for work and for diet. Join us this Sunday as we investigate an essential spiritual discipline that strengthens us for every challenge.

Q-Tip Theology

October 5, 2014 - We only have two weeks left in Paul’s letter to Timothy and we are coming to the overarching crescendo.  Have you ever had the desire to take things out of Scripture?  Things that maybe make you sweat?  Things that make you upset?  Things that make you wonder why?  If you could change anything in Scripture, what would it be?  This Sunday we are going to play a little game. We are going to see what kind of church doctrine we can come up with when hundreds of people share their ideas and views.  We are calling it “The Itching Ears Doctrine.”  It is found in the book of “Me, Myself, and I.”  Listen as we find out the reason for true Doctrine.
