- We only have two weeks left in Paul’s letter to Timothy and
we are coming to the overarching crescendo.
Have you ever had the desire to take things out of Scripture? Things that maybe make you sweat? Things that make you upset? Things that make you wonder why? If you could change anything in Scripture,
what would it be? This Sunday we are
going to play a little game. We are going to see what kind of church doctrine
we can come up with when hundreds of people share their ideas and views. We are calling it “The Itching Ears
Doctrine.” It is found in the book of
“Me, Myself, and I.” Listen as
we find out the reason for true Doctrine.

8 Necessary Defenses Against False Teachers
August 31, 2014 - False teachers come
in all shapes and sizes. From turning on the TV and seeing men selling
crystal blue holy water, to those that proclaim to be Jesus incarnate as they
steal money and abuse people. We live in a scary world that is very
similar to the times of Paul and Timothy in the New Testament. As we continue in our
series 'Fan The Flame' we are going to be discussing the "8 Necessary Defenses Against False Teachers" that Paul says are the duties of every
Christ Follower. This weeks sermon is
more than just a "Fight or Flight" reaction to false doctrine.
Paul is wanting us to be more mature in how we respond.
Becoming a Legit Christ Follower
August 24, 2014 - Join us as we begin a new series called "Fan The Flame - A Life Against
Apostasy" We are going to be taking a journey through Paul's final
letter for his young disciple Timothy. Paul is encouraging Timothy not give up
and to fight the good fight of faith against false teaching that is spreading
from Rome throughout the empire. We will learn
that in order to be a legit Christ follower we need to present Jesus at all
costs and protect His gospel. Have your Bibles and pens ready to search
the Truth.
